Q. Will you shoot my set for Suicide Girls.com? (My Number one most asked question. Sad, huh?)
A. No. Unequivocably and without any need for further discussion or negotiation, no I will not. Suicide Girls’ contract states all pictures taken by the photographers of the girls in question become their property. My pictures are my property and will not be owned by anyone unless I sell the rights to them, which is something I almost NEVER do. Also, I’m not big on dealing with companies that once threatened to sue me, so…there you go.
Godsgirls? BurningAngel? DeviantNation? All those, and other similar sites, are yesses or maybes, but SG? Absolutely not. Also, I’m now working for new site Sinful Kittens, so maybe you should consider applying there.

Q. Can I bring my friend /husband /boyfriend /girlfriend /mother/austrian nursemaid /philipino poolboy to the shoot? Will you take pictures of them as well?
A. You can bring anyone you want to your shoots with me(up to a reasonable amount of people. 2 at most, I would say.) as long as they stay out of the way, are entirely unobtrusive and may be willing to lend a hand if I need them to. Will I take pictures of them? I would say that depends. If they bring money and want to pay me and you don’t mind sharing time, or if I have the extra time, then sure. Otherwise, it will largely depend on what’s going on, what they’re willing/wanting to do and if I think they can add something.

Q. Can my friend /husband/boyfriend /girlfriend /mother /austrian nursemaid /philipino poolboy and I pool our money and buy a shoot together?
A. Yes, you can, but you split the time/shoot styles between you…which is not to say you can’t both be in the same and it only count as one, but if you buy 4 sets, I take 4 sets no matter who is in the pictures, for instance, one set of each of you individually and two sets of you together or however you want to work it. It’s all good in the hood.

Q. Will you pay me to model for you?
A. No. I won’t. Aside from the fact that I have a list of expenses to pay for outside of the industry, as well as a 7 year old son whom I am solely responsible for, I don’t feel as though I should have to pay you when I have other models willing to shoot with me for free. If you feel the same in opposite to me about having photographers willing to shoot trade with you, then you should go for it. Trade shoots are usually worth having either way.
The thing is…as an artist, my particular vision can’t be copied/duplicated/reproduced in exact by anyone else. Sadly, the same doesn’t hold true in reverse. I can get another model to do the same thing I have in my head. And if you feel you have some special talent or idea or something along those lines that I can’t find elsewhere, then you should visit my Trade Shooting Policy below.
All of that being said, if I ever strike it rich then maybe I WILL pay models eventually…but for now, on top of everything I already listed…I just plain can’t afford it.

Q. Will you shoot trade with me?
A. My answer to this is on the rates page , but let me sum up that longer explanation by saying that the answer is MAYBE. It depends on a number of factors, some of which are “What is the Trade you’re offering if it’s not money?”, “What makes you more special than [FILL IN RANDOM OTHER MODEL NAME HERE] that I should not charge you but she paid me?”, and so on and so forth. Best way to find out is to ask me outright including what you’re offering. Got an amazing idea you want to shoot and think I’m the right person? What’s the idea? That kind of thing. I’m very open to suggestions/other kinds of payment and the like. Do you cook? Detail cars? Are you an artist in your own right? A stripper? Do you have a special, photographable talent that is rare(fire eating, sword swallowing, interesting bodily defect, etc.) Give me something people! I’m not unreasonable.
I will say this, however…IF I agree to a trade shoot, you have to be prepared to shoot pretty much whatever I want. Review my work. Know what I do ahead of time. I don’t shoot pornography(unless I’m being paid for it and that’s what the client/model requests), but when you’re shooting trade with me, I consider this an outright Art shoot, and one of the things I do best is Fine Art Nudes or Implied Nudes. It’s not all I do, but it IS in my repertoire, and if you want me to shoot you for free, at a discount, or at some kind of barter, then we’re going to do what I want to do.
Or, if you’re a big name industry model. That’s the other thing.
Okay so that wasn’t much of a summation, but hey….at least now you know. And knowledge is power, kids. Write that down.

Q. What is the difference between Implied Nude, Nude, Shielded Nude, and a Non-Show Nude? ( Yes, I’m well aware I made 2 of those terms up, but guess what…my site, my terminology)
A. Ah. The question I get for the very reason I already stated: I made up two of those terms, and I tend to confuse people. It works out like this:
–
Q. I don’t want to get naked. Do I have to get naked?
A. Really depends on what we’re shooting, I guess. If you’re paying for a shoot, we’re collaborating on what we’re shooting and the answer is whatever you want it to be. If you’re shooting trade(meaning I’ve said yes to trade and you’ve offered something suitable in exchange for the time/effort I put into this) then the answer becomes “if I feel like it” and I would advise you to read the previous 2 questions.

Q. What do I have to do to get Physical Prints of my photoshoot?
A. Pay for them. At cost. No profit to me. Just ask me how much it will be and I’ll get you a price. You pay me, I get it and ship it/deliver it to you, however, I’ll only create prints of work I’ve edited. The unedited images will not be shown or printed. Leading me to the next question…
–
Q. Can I post unedited pictures? Can I edit them myself?
A. No. On both. If there’s a picture in your set that I didn’t edit when I sent you the edits the first time around, and you REALLY want it edited, I’ll edit if I have the extra time. Sometimes I can do this pretty easily. Othertimes it might take a couple days or so. I have no problem if you want a couple extra edits and I have the extra time, but I would appreciate not getting greedy or expecting it right away. If I do find out you’ve posted something unedited or edited something yourself, I will ask that you remove it.
–
Q. How long does it take to start getting Edits back?
A. Generally, a matter of a day or two. Enough time for me to sit down, go through the pics and pick what I want to edit. I never guarantee a time frame for one big reason: I edit as inspiration hits. Now, inspiration hits pretty often, so I don’t usually have to worry too much…but don’t be surprised if you get 3 or 4 from me right away and the next edit doesn’t come for 2 weeks, and then six months down the line I show up with another out of nowhere. While Inspiration hits often, my Muse has the attention span of a 4th grader and I jump around alot.

Q. Do you ever sell the Rights to your pictures?
A. I’ve done it exactly once to a model who…..well, to be perfectly honest, went off her nut and had a hissy fit due to something unrelated and decided she wanted the pictures to disappear. I will only EVER sell the rights to the model(s) appearing in the images. By selling the rights back to you, I relinquish all claim to them and you can do whatever you want with them. However, since all my work has already gone into them, this cost is on top of anything you already may have paid me, and is substantially more expensive at the rate of $2 per picture, and you have to buy them all. If I take 500 images of you, and you want the rights to them, that’s $1000. Also, I reserve the right to withhold any images I have previously sold as prints. I may NOT do that, but I do reserve the right to. Lastly, you don’t get the edits. I will only sell you unedited versions. If I sell you the rights to the unedited versions, the edits go into the trash.
I really don’t like having to do that. So please…let’s avoid that, okay?
